Gratitude for a Mindful Friday

This morning, with the sun shining and birds chirping, I am struck with just how much I have to be thankful for.  (Isn't just about everything easier with the sun shining?)  With the weekend approaching, hopefully full of family, love, and laughs, take time today to focus on the beautiful aspects of your life, the positive people who surround you, and the strength that you possess.  Although some days are (much) easier than others, remember: A big part of being mindful is being grateful for who/ where/ what you are/ have/ know at this moment.  Happy Friday!

Here are a few quotes about gratitude to help:

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.” — Denis Waitley

“What you focus on expands, and when you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it. Opportunities, relationships, even money flowed my way when I learned to be grateful no matter what happened in my life.” — Oprah Winfrey

“Silent gratitude isn’t very much to anyone.” — Gertrude Stein

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” – Buddha

“Gratitude is one of the sweet shortcuts to finding peace of mind and happiness inside. No matter what is going on outside of us, there’s always something we could be grateful for.” — Barry Neil Kaufman

I am grateful for my sweet girlie, Olive.
She sees the beauty in life, enjoys her time,
fills every day with love, and accepts me exactly as I am.
